CAE Huang and Attorney Chen have had a senior-junior relationship since their university days, but their friendship deepened only after entering the workforce.
CAE Huang initially joined a bank, while Attorney Chen came on board shortly after. This experience of working together allowed them to become more familiar with each other. They formed a team to play golf together, and CAE Huang has ten years of experience in the sport, with a personal best score of 80. Although he has never scored a hole-in-one, he greatly admires Attorney Chen’s golf skills, especially his record of five hole-in-ones.
Reflecting on their time practicing at the Tao Yuan Golf Academy, CAE Huang remembers how small the course was, with the longest distance being only about 150 yards and the single-day fee just 300 NT dollars. They could practice from morning until night, a stark contrast to today’s prices, which evoke many thoughts.
Their bond as senior and junior, as well as colleagues and golf partners, has led to a deep emotional connection. CAE Huang particularly favors the Lung Tan Golf Club in Taoyuan, as it remains relatively unchanged and offers a smoother playing experience, making it a therapeutic course where he can enjoy pleasant rounds.
When discussing his golfing experiences in Europe, he mentioned playing at a course in Hungary, where he found the maintenance of the courses to be relatively poor and had to bring his own equipment. However, he enjoyed the serene atmosphere. This year, he also played in Hawaii and Chiba, Japan, both of which were very enjoyable and memorable trips.
